My name is Benjy Weinberger, and I’m currently the engineering site lead for foursquare’s San Francisco office. Before that I worked on Infrastructure and Revenue engineering at Twitter, and before that spent eight years at Google working on Ads and Search engineering. I’m also writing a feature-length screenplay in my spare time. 

My purpose in writing this blog is to make the world of computer science and software engineering more accessible to non-engineers, in a manner that is engaging and inclusive. The tech industry is full of talented people who are not themselves technical but are nonetheless passionate about technology. I hope to provide them with a useful window onto that side of our industry.
